This selection of AFTRS broadcasts and podcasts produced by students as part of the Graduate Diploma in Radio and Podcasting program showcases some of the exciting work you can expect to produce as part of the course.

Show Radio is AFTRS' annual broadcast, live from the Sydney Royal Easter Show. There are live crosses, live and pre-recorded interviews, live reads and live shows, with students having the opportunity to try different roles, all supervised and supported by AFTRS industry practitioners.

This essential part of the learning journey for AFTRS' radio students sharpens technical abilities while promoting teamwork and encouraging students to practise various industry roles in a live environment.

Tune in to A Date in Time, a podcast produced last year by radio students. This follows the success of earlier podcasts that received accolades, including I'm at A Crossroad (2023), which won Best Factual Podcast at Radio Today, and Craze (2022), which was honoured as the People's Choice in the Indie Category for Radio Today's Podcast of the Year.

A Date in Time is a collaboration of on-campus and online students, with different roles including hosting, producing, social media and promotions, editing and composing. Industry mentors guide students through one-on-one sessions in areas of their expertise, enabling them to deepen their practice and knowledge in their areas of interest.
